Emiloju FC's Solomon Alade Joins NPFL Newcomers Ikorodu City

Ikorodu City have signed Solomon Alade from Emiloju FC of Lagos.

It would be recalled that Alade Solomon spent last season on loan at 1472 FC in the NNL where he made 19 appearances and scored 11goals.

He becomes Ikorodu City's second acquisition ahead of the new season after Rivio Ayemnwere joined from Sporting Lagos.

After signing two years contract with Ikorodu City,Solomon Alade said he is happy to be part of Ikorodu City project.

Ikorodu City will face four-time NPFL champions, Kano Pillars in their first-ever game in the top-flight.

The new NPFL season will commence on Saturday, August 31st.

Emiloju FC Carts Home N14M After Emerging As Champions Of Showtime Youth Cup

Emiloju FC has emerged champions of the maiden edition of showtime youth cup. The grand finale played at Mobolaji Johnson Arena saw Emiloju winning first ever trophy by defeating Oskey international by three goals to one. First half goals from Ayodeji Thomas Adefila, Onawumi Caleb Oluwafemi,and Madubugha Donald Elochukwu were enough for Emiloju FC to win first ever trophy.
