Lateef Hassan:Nigerian Coach With Penchant For Grassroot Football Development.

Coach Lateef Hassan is a household in Ondo state football especially in Akure and Ifedore local governments.

The journey started over two decades ago with numerous achievements.

Coach Hassan in a chat Sportsgister recently went down the memory lane on his coaching itinerary.

" I won't lie to you,it has been tough journey over two decades.

"I started my coaching with defunct Young shall grow FC of Akure as an assistant coach

"In 2010,I joined Super stars FC of Akure as assistant coach too.

"We won many trophies including Ondo state Osfa league.

"We played Super eight final against Sunshine Stars,we also won Fodan league unbeaten.

" In 2016,l had a stint with Adeleke FC.

"Later in 2021,I joined Haslat FC as head coach.

Coach Lateef Hassan is a holder of Diploma course certificate in coaching psychology from El roi University London.


Coach Hassan's Style of play is offensive approach with preference for 4-3-3.


Coach Hassan is an unrepentant grassroot Football developer.

He has envisioned coaching an NPFL team soon.

Coach Hassan is opened to be engaged by prospective employers.

Emiloju FC has emerged champions of the maiden edition of showtime youth cup. The grand finale played at Mobolaji Johnson Arena saw Emiloju winning first ever trophy by defeating Oskey international by three goals to one. First half goals from Ayodeji Thomas Adefila, Onawumi Caleb Oluwafemi,and Madubugha Donald Elochukwu were enough for Emiloju FC to win first ever trophy.
