Look at me, my father and mother were Muslim and Christian respectfully, look at the Plateau FA Chairmen, his father is a Muslim and his mother is a Christian. Look at what crisis is doing to us, you people can't stay at the comfort of your homes or do your normal business. On hearing and seeing these crisis where many lives were lost and properties worth hundreds of millions, I shed tears and that's why i had to officially meet His Excellency that i must see you."

He continues: "It is also very painful and disappointing seeing young boys who are good footballers displaced. In the view of this, am moved to organize a football tournament in both Mangu, Bassa, Jos South and Jos North Local Government Areas, that will not only make some of them fulfill their dreams but to also promote peace and unity."

Ahmed Musa gave 4 million naira to both camps in Mangu, five hundred thousand to the Governor's Cup winning team from Mangu and five million naira to both camps in Bokkos.
