Orumogege Football Competition LOC Sets ₦3.5m As prize money

A total of ₦3.5 million has been allocated as prize money for the second edition of the Orumogege Football Competition. This tournament, featuring both male and female teams, is set to kick off on September 8th and is held in honour of the Soun of Ogbomosoland, Orumogege III, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye. Amos Adewale Ado, the Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC), announced that a substantial cash prize of ₦1,000,000 will be awarded to the champion in each category.  The runners-up will take home ₦500,000 each, while ₦250,000 will be awarded as a consolation prize to the third-place teams in both categories.
